I was banned today, by either paddysnuts or goose as they were the 2 OGU i saw online at the time. I was talking to them as i had auto-assigned and because of leavers and/or other assigning to my side, i ended up being swapped to the other side. Now i felt as if i was targeted here as i was swapped twice after i swapped back to the side i had been assigned at the start. Now i was kicked without warning after swapping back, and then again, seconds after i had re-joined the server again. Now say what you will about swapping back after being auto-swapped, but i hadn't even joined a side when i was kicked the second. I then re-joined the server a further time, to put my opinion to whichever admin had decided to pick on me as the cause of his team losing, and unfair teams, and i voiced my opinion to him. After a discussion, i saw a message that said bye bye, and was promptly banned. Now, when i had re-joined that last time, i had actually joined the side which the admin had been trying to swap me to, and began playing, still voicing my opinion to the admin, to which he saw fit to ban me for.
Now i am expecting this post to simply be deleted, and my account removed from this site as this is obviously the way in which your OGU have shown me to conduct themselves. I enjoy playing on your server, and have always found a good game there, and i believe that if i am not allowed to voice my opinion on your server, then i will voice it here in your forums instead, and i hope that in future your admins respect other players, and don't simply use the excuse that since they pay for the server so they can do whatever they want to other players.
I would also like to add that before i get told i should have stayed on the losing side that was losing with the OGU admin, that yesterday whilst i was playing on your server, i saw OGU admin's swapping players from the winning side to the losing side, so that they themselves did not have to swap to the losing side, and i don't believe that you should set rules you cannot abide by yourself.
Thank you for your time, and i hope that such rogue admin behaviour has been brought to the attention of the clan leader, and other admins.
im not being funny m8 if you are auto assigned when team balance puts you on the opposite side it is courteous to stay on that side even if it is the losing side and by the way i am the leader and if player,s don't abide by the rule's or back chat to member's of the ogu clan . also admin don't swap team'sserver console doe's it and admin was not playing they was in spectatate . so sorry to ban you but rule's are rule's and it's only a GAME we just play for fun we don't play scrim's so that's that also this post r your account will not be deleted by me any way
Being funny, bollocks to that. Should've played nice. No admin member can switch players between teams. All the members of admin were playing at the time, so I think maybe they know about the rogue admin behaviour. Nice try though.
P.S Can you make your posts a bit smaller in future I had to have a nap half way through.
M8 i have swapped on many occasions onto the losing side .. i took offence to your attitude, as I pointed out on the server, it it only common decency to stay on the team you have been auto BALANCED to.. thats the reason its there .. to BALANCE the teams.
On the game in question at 1 point it was 7 v 3 and you were swopped to the opposing side to BALANCE the sides up.. you then rejoined your "ASSIGNED" team and promptly unbalanced the sides again.
You came back and started throwing accusations that we try to be on the wining team .. tonight I did not win 1 game.
your account will not be deleted by me and i am happy to post so you can see my reply. As Paddy mentioned, we play for fun only and it is not alot of fun being on a team of 3 vs 7 thats why we have auto BALANCE on.
you may ask why i have put BALANCE in capitals throughout this post ... it is done to purely balance the teams out and is done via the server config .... NO ADMIN will ever swop players about to get OGU players onto a wining team.
I'm sorry for the essay barnie, i had a lot to vent, and didn't get the oppurtunity to before i was banned from the server.
Don't get me wrong, i am not condoning my actions in any way, however, i do not feel a ban was justified for what i did. Nobody likes to be on the losing side, and especially, if your one of the players that has been fighting all round to be the winning team, but thats neither here nor there, i feel i was banned because i spoke out to whichever admin was having a bad run of games that night.
I don't play scrims, and am not a member of any cod4 clan, i only ever play this game when i have a spare hour to relax, but when i do play, i play to win, and to unlock things. I believe you guys run a good server, and its often enjoyable to play on, however, i don't believe i have committed the sort of offence worthy of a ban.
Thank you for the unban guys, was a good game the other night. And i'm glad it all got sorted out, and i guess i'll have to watch out on the server, Goose's knife seemed particularly hungry for me the other night :P
